Notes: This was my second try with the new Adidas Control shoes and wasn't a very successful comeback. The shoes gave me the worst blister I have ever had in my life (right in the arch of me right foot). Needless to say, I will be returning them tomorrow. Other then that, the run was good, I made record time and felt pretty good afterwards (other then the foot).

Notes: This was my first of two things: It was my first attempt at running for 8Km and was also my first attempt at running the High Park route. This route has a lot more hills then the route in the Beaches and it also has the challenge of a couple of traffic lights to compete with (also a nice break). Overall it was a touch run, but I made the entire distance with the help of a running partner (complete stranger) who was make the same amount of time as I was. This run was also the first time I was running with my new Adidas shoes and was pretty happy with them until I found out that they were creating a blister on my foot about 4Km into the run. I now have a big fat blister to treat! (To much information?)

Notes: This was my second attempt at this course in the Beaches. There were only about 30 people out today to take on the training session. The boardwalk was wet, and extremely windy (head wind). I took a little longer then normal to complete the course, but was the first to finish at the 5Km distance.

Notes: This evening I ran for the longest distance on record. According to the signs along the path I ran between 7 and 8 Km. If it wasn't for the rain I might I run a little further, but thought I should turn around. I think I can make it from Taylor Creek Park to Sunnybrook Park (10Km) soon. I really think I will be able to break 60 minutes for 10 Km. :)

Notes: This evening I tried a new path to run on at Taylor Creek Park. The run was tough to get through and my legs just wouldn't move with the rest of my body. I think the training run yesterday in the Beaches did a number on me and will enjoy the day off tomorrow.

Notes: Today I took my dive into training with the Run TO training group (9:30am). The Beaches location was the closest group to join. The run went very well and I feel extremely confident that I will no longer look bad on may 29th. Starting near the back of the pack, I ran hard and ended up finishing in the top 10 at a 5Km distance.

Notes: Ran my first 5Km distance outside. Took it out easy and glad I did since I pretty tired by the time I hit the last 2Km. My knee was a little sore after the run, but pretty happy over all by the time and distance. Stopped for about 20 second to cross Victoria Park Ave., but there was too much traffic (start of the path at Taylor Creek Park).

Notes: First attempt at running in the great outdoors. It was a difficult distance and was also very cold. This path has an extremely steep hill at the halfway point (end of the path). Felt like a total workout on completion. Rested at the halfway point for about 2 minutes.
